    Go for the well known brands like MAC.
    And ask you friends for advice.

    foundation (but not tooo much and dont choose it dark for ur skin tone…. make it nature……just to pure ur skin

    some blush ( for me i hate light colored blush like pink or light red ….i wear brownish color or dark red …..just dont put like too much make it normal )

    eyeliner ..( prefer to put colors like sky blue, dark green, and mostley black …….i also prefer dry eyeliner not liquid one )

    mascara ( blaaack )

    eyeshadow ( any color ….prefer white and light colors like blue and pink)

    and lipstick ( i like rosey lipglose and light pink conture )

    Mary Kay is great, but I am a little biased.
    They also have helpful application tips on their website.

    You can also find a local consultant through the website who can demonstrate how to use all of their products in person.

    The best thing you can do is go to the drugstore and experiment with different brands. This way you can see what you want, and you can return things if you don`t like it. I use Almay, Covergirl, Rimmel, Maybelline, Loreal, Sephora, Wet `N Wild, etc. I also really like Physician`s Formula because they have natural products, but it still looks as good as the regular cosemtics. Sephora is so amazing for makeup, because their are so many different brands, but sometimes is a bit expensive. You don`t have to spend a lot of money to get really good makeup, so a drugstore is your best bet if you are money concscious.
